If you've checked your local paper, looked at classifieds on motorcycle forums and still can't find a 250 for sale, THEN find a dealership. $3000 cash would probably bait them in well. TRY TRY TRY for a used one b/c they do get dropped, they do fall over from forgetfullness about putting the kickstand down, etc. Good luck, and we're glad that you are being a bit more sensible about this.
