If this is anything like a 98, it is not that bad, the speakers in the top in the back and in the front should both be 6 1/2s I put new speakers in both and am looking at getting new 6 1/2 phoenix gold components, because I now have 2 15" subs, which I want to be able to play without blowing out my tweeters, so I would suggest getting phoenix gold or MB quarts if you are looking at new speakers. I did not have to go to the head unit for my new components, I just cut the ends of the wires on the sides and wired them together, not a hard job... well have fun with whatever you do. You will need a new head unit, and if you get a head unit, I would get everything at once and then pay around 70 dollars to get it installed by a good store, since it is cheaper to install everything than each by itself. I wouldn't suggest doing a head unit on your own, that is a pain
