Well, I know what you're saying but truth be told theres no real such thing as a Big Block tranny or Bellhousing. All TH350's, TH400's, 200R4's, 700R4's, 2-Speed Powerglide's, M-21's, M-22's, T-5's,T-56's etc etc. All fit the Chevy small block and big block.

What you're saying is basically make sure you've got a built up tranny to handle the power, which is true cause the stock tranny will not like you after about 2 or 3 launches.
