i am looking to have an engine swap preformed on my car. it's a 2000 honda civic ex. right now it's got the standard 4 cylinder, 1.7 liter, 117hp motor. what i want to do is have this one replaced with something substantially more powerful. the problem is that i have only a basic knowlege about cars. i dont know what engine would be best, what would actually fit or operate effectively? i was thinking along the line of a nissan maxima motor or a mustang motor or something like that. it's an automatic car and i prefer to keep it that way cuz im not a serious race fan, but i like the idea of having a ridiculously overpowered honda. if i could find and engine with about 250-300hp that would work okay i dont care what it costs. i was looking at these ATK engines but again, i dont know if you could a chevy 350 v8 330hp engine in a civic bay. that link is
