yes ofcourse/....nothing will damage ur car..!!...i do it when i race at the lights.....it gives u a really good headstart....^^...
...just to add to this...(not related)...me and two other friends were racing a 2001 passat 4motion down the street....so damn funny...
...have u seen two maxima and a I30t cut off a passat 3 times in a row?...hhaha...u should of seen his expression....
