Exclamation Sorry to trash this idea, but...

I think a good sound system is wasted in a car like an Integra. Why? The sound-proofing is not that good right off the factory floor. My car is a '94, and the sound-proofing only deteriorates with time; plus my AEM intake and Mugen exhaust create more noise then the factory components, to dish in even more noise. I actually drive with earplugs in most of the time.

I've kept my factory head unit, and connected an Alpine 6-disc changer (housed in the trunk) to the CD interface, so I can listen to Slipknot, Korn, Rob Zombie, David Holmes, and favorite artists of mine while I drive. I like the factory head unit, because who would want to steal it? If I were to get a good sound system, I'd put it in a car like a Lexus, i.e. something whisper-quiet so that I could actually appreciate the clarity of an eight-speaker/200+ watt sound system.
