dude, the main thing you did wrong was punch it. FWDs understeer, therefore you punch the gas, you will just keep going pretty much straight, especially in the rain. the brake thing, im sure you understand why that happened, but its a natural reaction. If you want to try and drift a FWD, learn how to left foot brake. Warning, when you first try this, just do it going straight and in a nice big parking lot, because you will most likely just slam on the brakes. I wish I knew the addy for the site that explained exactly what left foot braking is, but I don't have it anywhere, maybe someone else can find it for you.

Funny story though.

on my way home from the OR meet, it was raining in Tulsa, and one of the ramp i got off on was a big turn on a bridge. I figured it was a little slippery so I slightly threw it into the turn, just expecting a little slide that didn't last long. Thing went almost completely sideways through the whole turn and never crossed a line. Kinda shocked me, I was also half asleep at the time so I was sort of like "wow, i just went sideways and stayed in the lane, cool" I never touched the gas though, until i wanted to pull out of the slide.
