I would not even try the 10 dollars light, they are not bright at all, even worst than factory. They just blue in color so they looks cool. I think as long as the light in white ( with little blue hub ) and within 55w is legal. The 80 dollars light bulb was probably PIAA superwhite. They are good bulbs.
