to update the mtr's
so far no noticable uneven wear patterns.
only complaint is they seem to be either throwing weights or something i mean i've never had offroad tires that needed to be balanced so often. i bought them in jan. of 2003 and have had them balanced 4 times so far all free at the Goodyear that i bought them at, and every time a different tech has said something to the effect of "these tires are way off" the only noticable prob would be at around 70-75mph the steering wheel shakes pretty bad, which has been my clue to get back in there and get a rebalance and rotation, after which they are smooth again. i've checked steering components and for mud on the insides of the rims but even after cleaning them spotless it would do no good till the rebalance. oh well i love the grip they give off road. i took my stock x tires up to West Jefferson N.C. last year and went off road with my brother-in-laws and there jeeps, the trails were wet and i slid all over the place when going downhill at almost a crawl, last month i went back up to visit and went to the same trails for the exact reason of testing them against the former, they performed like a champ in fact i was suprised my brother-in-law Bobby is using them on his wrangler although they are 35" mtr's he said they are great. i love them down here in the sand in florida which is where i am most of the time but if you are planning on a road trip balance them first.
