No problem, you are WRONG!!

Brake cleaner is the one that is bad for the plastic, brake fluid will strip the paint without harming the plastic/styrene.

Castrol Super Clean should be available at either a Walmart or a K-Mart in the Automotive section, just look for the big purple jug amongst the car soaps and cleaners.
