That is asking for trouble if you don't exactly know what you're doing. Better to paintbrush with enamels (like Humbrol gold or Tamiya gold enamel)

There's no such thing as gloss primer At least I've never heard of it. So just use normal primer and airbush / spray the rims or paintbrush them if you choose to. Better to spray with a can or an airbrush though
