I think you might be right
Still trying to get the body mods right. Most of the car only has a very thin layer of primer to check for irregularities. When everything is spot on (or a close as I can manage) then I'll give it a proper coat of primer, a white base, then Red. Decals will be applied the several coats of clear lacquer to finish off.
Still wondering what the right shade of red is. Planning to use TS-49 Bright Red but wondering if a slightly darker shade may better? Perhaps Italian Red?
