Theres a company that makes a stroker kit for the 1.6, but it strokes it to a 1.8 and costs like $2000. So youd be better off finding a 1.8 to start with. His del slow weighs more than your rex so you allready have an advantage there. I bored my 1.6 .020 over and only gained .8 cubic inch, so boring doesnt really gain you a whole lot. If your going to rebuild the motor and going forced induction, you have alot of choices. IMO go with lower compression pistons, good rods and run the 75 horse shot on a nitriuos kit. Plus the normal bolts on and the fact your a couple hundred lbs lighter you'll put a hurting on him for sure.
