- Alrighty, i finally got some free time and i got to do a bunch of work done on my headlights yesterday, and a lil' today !
heres what i did so far :
1) removed front bumper, radiator, and fan.
2) removed fenders
3) removed stock headlights
PIX EXPLAIN BELOW:
Heres the front w/out bumper, radiator, fan, and headlights.
Different angle .. i didnt think bout gettin pix earlier, but the maroon/burgandy-ish metal that surrounds inner light, is cut out later.
heres both the lights, metal cut out, bolted in. Had to cut inner metal around light out so that the light could extend and fit in the car w/out haning out.
Heres an angle shot, and idea of how well these fit fenders already
Heres a pic of the hood modified the first time (the left) cut out to fit the light.
See how well the head light fits fender ? made me happy, less work for me:smoker:
Front view, and flash from cam made it look neat too !
Hood was modified so it wouldnt crack my head light when i put it down

, i measured it, and made sure not to cut too much. . so i cut less than what was needed.. cuz u can always cut more.. but u cant get more metal on there ( u could , but alot more work )
I cut the other side of hood for my light to see how close i am, and how much more i need to cut. Hows it look ?
Closer view, and i only need to cut bout 3/8 inch more to be perfect

, and i got a cool "H" on my hood to rep.
This is view from under hood jus so u know what i cut out.. both sides are 3/8 inch from being perfect. Then i can add the new mounts for radiator so i can put them back on. After that, i'll touch it up w/ fillin up gaps in fender and hood w/ fiber glass. Then i still need wire kit for the headlights.. theres soo many bulbs, gotta spend some $ on wire for accord lights
------------- i got some Stock headlights for sale now, and corner lights ( also stock. 1 corner light is missin slide in slot under it to connect it. But headlights are good.
Tell me what you guys think ! Just wanted to show u guys my work and maybe some ideas
