I would much rather go with the b18c over the cr-vtec. My reasoning is the GSR motor is much stronger bottom end. To build a good b20 you need to use the GSR bottom end. Plus the b20 cylinder walls are weak. I have heard so that so many people have had problems with sleeved b20 not being able to handle high compression. So if a sleeved motor can;t handle the compression or boost and you have to spend the money to sleeve it you are right up to the price of a GSR motor. So the price is not something to compare the two. The GSR motor IS the best motor honda has ever built. It has all the things that everyone wants. Oil squirters, crank girdle what more could you want. I have done a lot of research on this desicion and that is why i have just recently started to build my all-motor B18C1.
