I have a 1994 Sentra, 5 speed that I have this sudden issue with. 4 times now, the car has shutoff on me while I'm driving. It seems to happen when I've got the clutch and brake depressed for slowdown or stoppage. I can start the car right back up by turning the key like you would normally when starting so the battery apparently is not the problem. The issue is a serious safety problem because I can't steer if it shuts down while I'm in a turn. Does anyone know what might be the cause of this and how I might fix it?
