yeah stock internals on most NA cars are very weak. safelly i'll say your car should run up to 10 psi on stock internals. To be on the safe side i'll say 6-8 psi. Also make sure you don't run lean that will cause detonation and extreme temperatures which will cause your engine to go BOOM


about the gas i'll say 93 octane will not detonate up to maybe 20 psi but that is with lowered compression so it depends from car to car. running lean will also lead to detonation. I know that the evo VIII runs 18 psi with 8.8:1 compresion use that as a benchmark if you want since is designed to run on pump gas but don't forget that many of thse cars have detonation sensort to retard the timing if detonation is about to occur. sensors wich you don't have
