Any nation says the same thing. And if your allies know you're right, how come now the U.S.' alliance with Europe is in danger of breaking? Or is it that America's allies have finally woken up from their slumber, and realized that they're being conned all along?

Oh really? Russia our firends? I think not. Russia still strives to be a world superpower and until they get over the "I want to take over the world" ideas its leadership has, it will be a miserable country. We are not goody-goody with Russia. If you haven't noticed, Iraq has been aided by Russia directly, even to this very day.
