Author .. i'm with you so peae read carefully.. i've taken out alot of Z06 of course my cars are designed ..and i have the money to do s.. you fail to mention what year the early Viper were only in the low 13'sthen the mid 90 were inthe mid 12's and finally in 98-99 they were in the low 12's.. putting you car smack dab in the pack.. was it a new viper..
you raced for 2 miles and he onlyhad one car ..maybe since your Z06 isn'tgeared for top end.. you think he was just staing ahead of you.. the Viper is potent car .. and pussy per dollar value blow the vette awa.. your Zo6 to a chick looks like a c5.. the convertable c5 is more of a babe magnet. was it a Gts? did it have a top.. hard or soft..
i love vettes.. the c5 was too watered down for my tastes my grand port get far more attention and has the balls to back it up
your Z06 is a totally awesome car drove seveal at Gm proving grounds..
Though you havet o consider the Viper fomhead o stern is hand built.. so the cost is for that.. and its big ass engine.. can easily for 1k installed be set up for aa 300 shot direst port system.. i've seen he...and they don't have much trouble with anything after that
my problem with your story is the Viper "definitely has a higher top end and would have walked you once your acceleration stopped to a crawl.. so you might tink that he was just keeping ahead of you to justify his win and not abuse his motor.. jmo
unless it was a 92 or 93 then maybe it was fully wide open with an open topped car.. that hurts top end severly
