I dont usually hang the toilet paper, i just sit the fresh roll on the space between the old one and the wall and let someone else put it on. usually its overhand.

I'm a squatter too
it just seems more natural then wiping while sitting down. I mean, how the hell do you even wipe while still remaining seated? do you tilt to the side and balence on one cheek?
