the superior recess of the 4th ventricle - are the folia of the nodulus. Attached to each side of the nodulus is a thin, white lamina, the inferior medullary velum. The inferior medullary velum connects the nodulus to the peduncle of the flocculus and to the flocculus itself, the scalloped margin of which protrudes from the remainder of the cerebellum.
