PS is Pferdstarke, or German horsepower. It is measured slightly differently from HP. So a 150 PS engine makes a bit above 145 HP.

There is another thread here somewhere in which this is discussed in more detail.

My comment about the manifold is to let you know that the compression makes only a very minor contribution to the additional hp.
