It's not limited to import cars. For example, a 2003 Corvette Z06 should be done in 1/24 scale. They could make the muscle cars the exception to the rule. Like Tamiya has "1/24 Sports Car Series", Revell would have "1/25 Muscle Car Series". The rest would be 1/24. In reality, there is little difference between the kit scales, but for part swapping, it would be best to have all parts the same scale. 1/24 is the better choice of the two.
