Um, you know Nissan got nearly 540hp out of the turbo VQ30 used in their JGTC R34 GT-R, right?
Top Secret has already made 570hp with a VQ35 turbo...in another R34.

There are also two Maxima owners with street driven cars running stock internals: One has with a homegrown turbo kit, and the other has a Stillen Vortech V1 supercharger and a 35-shot of nitrous. Both are making 429fwhp from their VQ30DEs. If you factor in a modest 15% drivetrain loss, they are producing is nearly 500 crank hp. The owner with the supercharger and nitrous has run an 11.9 in the 1/4 mile. The owner with the turbo kit made his 429fwhp with a stock transmission in the
high elevation of Colorado.
