If you do have a resin kit in the future, mind taking some pics of it without first assembling it? Curious to see what it contains.

Well...sort of. Resin kits generally have simplified detail where plastic kits dont. For example, the undercarage on a plastic car has all of the suspension parts and drive shaft etc. Where as a resin kit might not.
One area in which resin kits are far superior to plastics are figures. Much more detail can be molded onto a resin fig than plastic.

Now as for the details being better, on 1/43 resin kits vs. 1/43 plastic kits, yes. For 1/24 kits some things are better. Usually people buy the 1/24 resin kits because they are usually subjects that are not made like the Skoda rally cars and such.
