To get your old emblems off: Take a hair dryer and heat them up, this will loosen the glue that holds them on, when you get them hot enough they should peel right off. If you have any residue, use some Acrysol (it is a solvent, don't worry it won't hurt your paint) and scrape the goo off with your fingernails. If you can't get acrysol, you can use paint thinner.

I just cut a peice of black vinyl to put over my Infiniti in the back window (I wouldn't replace it because the back window is probably about 700$ at the least)
