On the mustang, removing the silencer is supposedly good for about 2-3 hp. I think I'll just leave it in place if there is no real gain from removing it. The intake from the silencer to the throttle body seems very restrictive, so what kind of gains are you guys seeing from CAI kits. Thanks for you help (and for redeeming this site)!!
