I'm not so sure. The S2000's lack of torque for much of its rpm range is going to hurt it a lot in the quarter mile. With the WRX's turbo lag taken into consideration, it should still have a plethera of useable torque throughout its rpm range in comparison to the S2000. Should still be aclose drag race, none-the-less.

But for road racing in optimal conditions, these could be very good races indeed. You throw even the slightest hint of fowl weather into the equation, and the odds are thrown heavily into the WRX's favor. But as long as pavement traction is not an issue, these should be very competitive, considering the very different strengths of these two races.
