Yo guys,
I thought I used my nr. 1000 for a confession.
Although I've always been very sceptical about Tamiya Rubbing Compound, I picked up a tube later this afternoon in the local hobby shop (Broux for the Belgians

) and was too curious so I immediately gave it a go on a Fujimi's AMG SLK on which I'm currently working.
It takes off a bit of the paint surface but the result is just stunning! Paint is a self made metallic light blue and I sanded it down because of some light orange peel. Well, there are still some minor scratches, but I guess next time I'm not going to sand but use the compound immediately. Finished off with Tamiya Wax! :licker:
I hope to get it finished this week, so I can take some pics with my friend's digicam. Well this forum has learned this old fox a lesson! Thanks guys
Guido.
ps. When I'm at 2000 I'll confess using primer
