to answer CivicKiller's question yes i just did a new tune up less than a month ago.....
thanks all for the help, any other help will shed light on helping me learn more.
(((also some sad news, last night some kids broke into my car and stole over $900+ in stereo equipment. the honda owners never ending story about theft lol sorry just wanted to rant about it cuz people who steal from cars oviously havent ever work/paid for something in there car)))

When I was talking to a UR tech he was saying that on the Single Cams Advancing the timing will give you a little bit of low end power which is what you need on a Single Cam. If you retard it will give you more high end power which is also nice to have. If you are running N/A I would advance you cam sprocket no more then 2 notches. If you are running N/A then you are going to need more low end power at least on the single cam.
