coilovers are expensive but by the time you by springs, struts, and install your really not saving much just buying the springs. i have the eibach pro-kit which is like a 1.3 inch drop, the ride is still alright but i need to replace my struts before they blow. i just dont have the loot right now for KYB's. they cost about 380 and they are 8 pt adjustables. you also might want to look into a strut bar and a rear sway bar. that will complete your suspension and make it turn really tight after you lower it. you have to allign the car too after you replace the springs, and they wont just do that at any shop because its not factory specified anymore.
