My friend just bought 2002 Civic DX manual tranny, and ever since he got it he was biatching and moaning that he will own my max only because he has a stick. Dude each time he was telling me that I was laughing in his face so hard I almost had a heart attack. So Im telling him "Lets do this, You wanna bet?" Hes like "yea lets bet 5 bucks" Im like "hahahahaha only 5? Are u uncertain that you will will the race?" Hes like " I know I will win" I started laughing again. So he told me he had to break into the car first because it was brand new. So Im like sure Ill wait. So about 2 months ago he calls me and says lets do it. I was like "are you ready to loose your 5 bucks?" He didnt say anything. He was bone stock and I had (still have) Injen Racing Division CAI. Dude I handed his ass to him right off the line. We raced from traffic light to traffic light, but the distance was far ( Rt. 9 south-Oldbridge, by Fleet Bank) I was waitting for him on next traffic light for about 6-8 seconds later than me, and he said GOOD RACE. Im like "Dude, you were saying?" Personally, he doesnt know how to drive stick. He freaking switches the gears at very low rpm. I asked him why does he do that. He said hes saving gas. I said "YEA AND YOU ARE FUCKING UP YOUR TRANNY LIKE THAT!!!" Anyways. That day I made extra 5 bucks only because of my friends stupidity, but the same day I paid for his lunch because it was only 5 bucks, plus hes my friend and I didnt feel like robbing my friends wallet.
