I have a 1993 honda del sol SI (d16z6). everything is stock except for the custom exhaust piping into a OBX baby bomb Muffler and a AEM cold air intake.
My question is whether or not i should fix my timing/cam gears or anything else to adjust the major loss feeling around mid range rpm........it just feels so dead from 3000 to 5000 rpms, is this normal or am i just really used to my stock engine that i think it is lacking???

Thanks Dblaron93

p.s. if there is a thread like this already sorry!!!
It is because you have no back pressure before you go 2.5 you should have got some other mods first. Also you only have one cam gear not 2. Are you still running the stock cam gear? You are running a Single Cam and before you start feeling any power you are going to have to do a lot of bolt-ons. Look at my setup in my sig and then look at my 1/4 time.
