I should be embarassed to admit this, But I have a 96 Kia Sportage. I was having catalytic problems, So mine was hollowed out and put back on, The Kia has two of them on it. Anyway I was reading another message board and I read it would pass without the one??? I'm here in SoCal!!! I'm due for the nasty Smog check!!!! Can someone give me some pass tips? I know to run it hard first, so it's hot/warm, I read the heat engine treatment tip too, I do not wanna have to buy another converter thing, Cause I will have to buy from a Kia dealer, it's around 600.00 EWWWWWW!
Please don't be mean about my car, I really do like it! I'm a female what do I know anyway????? It's really, really cute though, it's red and looks like a little hot wheel car!!
