Yes, they are cheaper, but it depends if you want an adjustable one, or a normal shortened shifter. I have the pacesetter, it is adjustable, and i paid like $55 for it at a shop in Phoenix. But i think MSRP is closer to $120 or so. Either way it's much cheaper than $250 from $tillen. Hope this helps.
