Not true! You can use a JDM motor and still get a bar certification! It has to have all the smog equipment and function like the equivelent USDM model of that same engine... SO if I got a JDM typeR motor I would have to have all the stuff off a USDM typeR car... Well ya know smog related stuff
I chated with the REFF about this one day while an aquanence was getting reamed for all the illeagal shit under his hood... I guess they didnt like the individual TB setup hooked up to a T66 turbo... I dunno why
