See thats the problem, the 03 cobra is supposed to compete with the c5 vette, with out the charger its only 30 less horsepower, but anyway the cobra absolutley murders the c5 and runs right beside a z06 in the quarter. The cobras are so restricted coming out of the factory, they have the potential of being well over 500 horsepower take a look:

Now of course the z06 is a better car. Its in a different league. It cost 55 grand were as a cobra cost 34 for the coup and 37 for the convertible, thats even way cheaper than the c5. For the money, the cobra is the best bargin out there. Its barley a couple grand more than a new 280 horse Z.
