i was reading this magazine i picked up because i was going to another island and was gonna be stuck at the airport for hours, so i picked up a magazine called hot compact import or something like taht. they had this article in there about building a NA b16a with 200whp. they never finished the project but thats there goal, a 200whp NA b16a, this is on a 1600cc b16 so its not bored or stroked or anything.
i never knew this before but they were talking about flame travel, if you decide just to bump yoru comp ratio with pistons only, well then the piston will dome up like a type r piston, and the higher the piston goes the less the flame will travel during combustion, which will result in less hp. so if the flame doesnt travel then you will lose hp. so the trick is to bump your comp ratio up as high as you can without new pistons, maybe in the end youll end up getting new stock comp pistons. if you decide to get cams, make sure the cams dont hit the pistons
as for the head, if it were me, id order a jg built head, or a jg bare head
