Nothing is really "wrong" with them I suppose. Just kind of pointless to post a reply in a thread where the previous reply was 2 or 3 months old. At that point it's almost a 100% likelyhood that your post will be irrelevant. If you really want to get your ideas/information out there though, feel free to start up a new thread!
And about pulling up old posts just because of a vote...That's very wrong. Extremely annoying and worthless. Much better if you have your polls time out after some amount of time. Be liberal with how much time you allow them to stay open, that's fine. Just put some kind of limit on it. Makes it so people like RockyV can't do what he did.
