He'll get raped by insurance. I figured that an older 4 cylinder car would be easy on insurance, but full coverage on an N/A 1983 944 was about 7000 dollars CDN. I was 17 at the time, 19 now. It had 84K miles on it and was in great condition if you were wondering. Asking price was 8500 CDN.
If he can that would be amazing, but I'm skeptical. Couldn't hurt to check insurance prices.
