Dont wetsand future!

Maybe I didnt let it cure enough but...

I let my future floor wax'd car body sit for a week. I wetsanded the orange peel, all was good. Next I began to polish the body. Well the luster remained dull so i polished harder. The next thing I know, pieces of future start peeling off and the whole body begins to cloud up. I mean the whole freakin body clouded up like gloucoma. I suspect the water got under the future somehow and floated it up.

I managed to save the paintjob and decals though - I let the damaged body dry a bit and washed off the sanding residue. Next I sprayed Isopropyl alcohol onto the entire body to remelt the future. This lessened the cloudiness, and I followed up by respraying new coats of future and its now shinier than before.

I guess with future, i no longer need Tamiya compound. Just drysand with 2000 grit, and future the damn thing to finish up.
