Maybe he got the spec-v for the looks, suspension, hlsd, interior, 6-spd, need I go on? Theres much more to the spec-v than the engine, and maybe you don't know much about the performance of the sr20det, but the qr25 pales in comparison.

maybe something about a 210 stock hp severely overbuilt turbo 2L easily capable of making 400whp with NO internal modifications tickles his fancy....
