The starting issue is a known "problem" with the spec-v's. The thing is the fuel pump takes a little bit to get the fuel running to the engine, there is nothing wrong, but it can be a little annoying from what I'm told. The best way to fix it is to turn the key to ON for just a couple secs before starting it, this lets the pump start going ahead of time. The ticking when you turn off the car is normal as well, my car, as well as all other sentras do it. Just curious, how many miles are on the car?
