This forum is only as good as you guys want to make it. I've said it before, no one forces you to come here or read the posts.
I get really pissed off with people that want to moan about the site....were you all not a newbie once and posted the same stuff.
We have a whole bunch of new people coming here which only goes to show how popular it has become.
One thing i'd like to see better is the
thread title. Make it clear so people know what it is about before you open it.
Posting a thread called
Has anybody got........ is a waste of time. Dont waste peoples time opening it up....IMO. Ask what you want...that way people see the thread, they know it has nothing to do with them and they can move on.
Another idea i've been think about is maybe breaking the threads down into different section. Have a look at the
G20 FORUM . We broke this into different sections when it started to get to big.
If we do it(which i'd have to talk about with Jay) we need to find out what sections we would need.
Example......
Intro for newbies
Painting/priming
Progress pics
Finished pics
General Questions
????????
???????
??????
??????
