Well I mean it all depends on your needs... the SOHC ZC although newer, is basically the D16z6 that we get here in the states (found in 92-95 civic si and the del sol as well)

The DOHC ZC although no VTEC, is well... DOHC, unless you are running big boost I dont think the SOHC would be of benefit. I dont know how far you plan on going with the turbo build up, but trust me... do it BEFORE you put it in the car. Its a pain in the ass yanking motors in and out every time you have to do something. Just take care of it all non, and drop it in complete. Not only will you save time, it will make life easier because you wont have to crawl under your car and put your body in any un-natural positions to bolt stuff up! And do the obvious as well... new pumps, seals, gaskets etc. Dont trust anything that comes "used" :smoker2:
