they should work. majority of aftermarket springs/coilovers fit 88-00. if anything, your car is lighter than a 5th gen (92-95). they will be a little more stiff for the extra weight which would make your car look higher.
since you're just looking for something quick and cheap...i'd get them. then just plan to get lowering springs or coliovers in the near future. both are pretty cheap anymore
