I had a set of msd wires and had the same problem you are having. I noticed that they didn't fit properly in the valve cover. It eas weird they all seemed to be different lengths at the ends were they attached to the plug. I bought a set of ACCEL wires and they fit perfect just like OEM, and I haven't had that problem sense.
