It would be nice . . .

This would be really something if Lambo do decides to do this. Perhaps with the new challenges being laid down by the likes of Pagani, Ferrari, B Engineering; Lamborghini will step up to the plate. That is not to say that they don't already have a ballistic car on their hands, but with the new techniques and designs being used for the Gallardo (see lighter weight), perhaps the next version of the Murcielago will go on a diet.

As for the engine I read in one of the car mags, that Lamborghini did not try to exploit all they could from the 6.2L V12. They said this particular engine has a lot more to offer. Ferrari managed to pull more bhp from a smaller displacement. I 'm sure Lambo can do the same. Furthermore, is this not Lambo's normal progression, to develop a car over an 8 or 10 year period making it better each year while adding speciall additions such as SV, GT, etc. ?????
