Blister? No way. Perhaps you mean the sidewalls get bubbles in them easily. The P8s I had years ago did that and I've heard that about other Pirellis.

Blistering is when the tread surface gets hot and actually gets a blister between the carcas and the surface of the tread. I've only heard of this happening with racing slicks. Road tires tend to chuck if they over heat, especially a harder tire like the P4000.
