It's also possible no one has experienced the issue you're asking about and would simply be guessing to post any ideas.

So besides replacing the sensor and hose have you checked anything else, such as how lean the car is running? Have you gone through the troubleshooting steps for a P1400 diagnostic code? If you don't have the steps post back and I can create a PDF of them from the factory service manual. Well, at least I should be able to.
